Wise Mind Studio is a bi-weekly advanced skills group for clients who have already completed DBT treatment and want to continue deepening their practice.

In this collaborative group, members learn advanced skills, engage in peer coaching, and strengthen mastery through ongoing mindfulness and real-life application.

Group Goals

✅ Define new goals for growth after completing DBT treatment
✅ Strengthen and maintain mastery of DBT skills in daily life
✅ Learn advanced and specialized topics such as: Loving Kindness • Dialectics • Behavior Change Principles • Doing/Being Mind • Building Relationships • Ending Destructive Relationships • Cognitive Distortions (“Thinking Mistakes”) • Self-Validation & Self-Compassion • Walking the Middle Path • Values Exploration
✅ Practice giving and receiving peer skills coaching
✅ Build confidence through client-led activities such as leading mindfulness

Who Should Join

  • Individuals who have completed a full course of DBT (typically one year)
  • Graduates of Wake Kendall’s EASE Program
  • Clients who are not actively engaging in high-risk behaviors

What to Expect

  • A welcoming, supportive learning environment
  • A collaborative, client-led format that fosters mastery and independence
  • A community of peers continuing their growth after DBT

Schedule: Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM via Zoom beginning 1/8/2026

Length: Enrollment is for a 6-session module (12-weeks), may be repeated for ongoing support
