Sarah Mintz, Ph.D.

Dr. Sarah Mintz has spent over a decade at the Wake Kendall Group helping adults address diverse therapy goals. Trained in psychodynamic, behavioral and cognitive behavioral therapies, she prioritizes careful listening and assessment tailored to each individual’s needs within a context of cultural humility. Dr. Mintz has completed intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as well as DBT-PE and is a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification (DBT-LBC) Certified ClinicianTM. Dr. Mintz treats a broad range of concerns including mood and anxiety disorders, early psychosis, trauma/complex trauma, navigating life transitions, and relationship difficulties. She also welcomes clients seeking to change longstanding patterns in their lives or to address internal obstacles to growth. Dr. Mintz received a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and an AB from Princeton University. She completed a predoctoral internship in adult psychiatry at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and a postdoctoral fellowship in inpatient psychiatry at Saint Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, DC.

Dr. Mintz is licensed to practice in DC and MD and is also authorized to provide telepsychology services in PSYPACT-participating jurisdictions.
