Megan Rave Lankenau, Ph.D.

Dr. Megan Rave has over 15 years of experience as a psychologist. She has been practicing with the Wake Kendall Group since 2020. She is interested in helping clients with issues related to anxiety, trauma, and emotional dysregulation. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Prolonged Exposure. Dr. Rave also incorporates mindfulness and acceptance strategies into her work. Her areas of expertise include Anxiety Disorders as well as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder. Dr. Rave received her Ph.D. from George Mason University and her M.A. from New York University. She completed her postdoctoral residency where she specialized in military trauma/PTSD at the Baltimore VA Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. She then became a Staff Psychologist at the Washington VA Medical Center, where she worked in the Primary Care Behavioral Health Clinic, with the Trauma Recovery Program, and was the Women’s Sexual Trauma Coordinator. She also has spent a number of years conducting Compensation and Pension exams for veterans.

Dr. Rave is licensed to practice in DC, MD and VA and is also authorized to provide telepsychology services in PSYPACT-participating jurisdictions.
