Kimberly Wolfe, LICSW

Areas of clinical practice: therapy (adolescents, adults, couples, parent work, groups)

Ms. Wolfe has an integrative, eclectic approach to therapy tailored to individual client’s needs. She has been in practice for over 25 years in a range of mental health settings including inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, partial hospitalization, and numerous rehabilitation settings. Ms. Wolfe has intensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and has been a member of the DBT team at Wake Kendall since 2013. She has additional experience with the transdiagnostic treatment approach of anxiety disorders, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, DBT Prolonged Exposure (PE) that informs her trauma work, and Imago and Emotion Focused Therapy that informs her couples work. Ms. Wolfe has specific experience with blended families and issues surrounding separation and divorce and an interest in conflict resolution and anger management. She received both her BSW and MSW in Social Work with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health from University of Maryland.
