Geraldine De La Rosa-Lopes, Ph.D.

Dr. Geraldine De La Rosa-Lopes has years of experience working with individuals across the age range, settings, and levels of care. Dr. De La Rosa uses an integrative approach, drawing from her strong background in empirically-supported therapies to treat mood and anxiety disorders, chronic pain conditions, and adjustment difficulties. She is intensively trained in the application of Enhanced Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT-E), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for the treatment of eating and comorbid disorders. She has additional experience treating trauma and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. Dr. De La Rosa received a Ph.D. from The Catholic University of America and a B.S. from Trinity College. She completed a predoctoral internship in Health Psychology at Nemours/Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children, as well as a postdoctoral fellowship at Sheppard Pratt’s Center for Eating Disorders’ inpatient, partial-hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.

Dr. De La Rosa is licensed to practice in DC and MD and is also authorized to provide tele psychological services in PSYPACT-participating jurisdictions. Dr. De La Rosa offers services in English and Spanish. She is also proficient in Portuguese.
