Dr. Elyse Frank joined Wake Kendall following her graduate studies where she gained experience working in schools, community mental health, and hospital based outpatient clinics providing both therapy and psychoeducational evaluations. She uses client-centered and cognitive behavioral approaches. She has years of experience treating children and adolescents presenting with emotion dysregulation, learning disorders, anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. Dr. Frank received a Ph.D. in School Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. She completed a predoctoral internship at ANDRUS, a community mental health outpatient center where she provided trauma-informed therapy for children and adolescents. She graduated with her B.S. from the University of Maryland, College Park.
