Dr. Sunita Duggal has over 20 years of experience working with adults and adolescents at the Wake Kendall Group. Dr. Duggal’s areas of focus range from emotion regulation issues (including anxiety, mood disorders, and borderline personality disorder) to parenting challenges, relationship difficulties, and problems relating to life transitions. Dr. Duggal’s general approach is eclectic, using both cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapy techniques as well as more insight-oriented approaches, emphasizing the influence of early experience on development. Dr. Duggal is a strong believer in mind-body approaches, and she has completed yoga teacher training in addition to many years of yoga practice. Mindfulness is an important aspect of her work with clients. Dr. Duggal received a Ph.D. from the joint program in Child Development and Adult Clinical Psychology at the University of Minnesota and a B.A. from Williams College. She completed a postdoctoral internship at the Western Psychiatric Institute & Clinic.

Dr. Duggal is licensed to practice in DC and MD and is also authorized to provide telepsychology services in PSYPACT-participating jurisdictions.
