Ms. Lenette (Lenni) Snyder has spent more than 35 years working in mental health settings, first in early childhood mental health interventions and then treating children, adolescents and adults. Ms. Snyder uses an interpersonal approach to treatment, while also utilizing other approaches as appropriate. She has intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and practiced on the DBT team at Wake Kendall for over 15 years. Ms. Snyder holds certifications in early childhood mental health, the Circle of Security Protocol, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) in teens, and grief and trauma treatment from the Wendt Center. Her current focus is on helping people, both individually and in groups, who are grieving. She is a frequent speaker on attachment theory and grief. Ms. Snyder received a M.A from the George Washington University and a B.A. from the University of Maryland.
