Dr. Margo Genderson has over a decade of experience working with adolescents and adults at the Wake Kendall Group. She has a strong background in providing evidence-based treatments to help clients achieve meaningful insight and change. Her practice focuses on supporting individuals presenting with a broad range of concerns, including emotion regulation issues, trauma-related disorders, relationship difficulties, and other life stressors and challenges. Dr. Genderson has a particular interest in the treatment of anxiety disorders and has co-authored two books: Treatment of Generalized Anxiety Disorder: Therapist Guides and Patient Manual and Management of Mental Disorders: 5th Edition. Dr. Genderson received a Ph.D. from Boston University and a B.A. from Emory University. She completed a predoctoral internship at the Baltimore Veterans Administration (VA) Medical Center and a postdoctoral position at the Clinical Research Unit for Anxiety and Depression (CRUfAD) in Sydney, Australia.
Dr. Genderson is licensed to practice in DC and is also authorized to provide telepsychology services in PSYPACT-participating jurisdictions.
